JEAH® is housed in the Chicago Board of Trade Building, located in the heart of downtown Chicago. The building features 24/7/365 on-duty security officers, access control using smart cards, automatic intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, and visible and concealed cameras. It is the only building in Chicago to draw power from 6 different city substations, ensuring a continuous and reliable power supply.
The JEAH® datacenter is temperature-controlled using several 15-ton Liebert air-conditioning
units, features an early fire detection system using a HALON gas fire suppressant (which doesn't harm electronic equipment), and offers power protection and management using Liebert Precision power distribution units, UPS, and gas generators.
The JEAH® network consists of multiple 1gbit (1000mbit) connections to several transit providers including Cogent, Telia, and AboveNet. It features several forms of active firewalling enabled not only internally, but also on our edge routers. We use only Cisco routing components and are linked by 100mbps Category-5(e) wiring.
JEAH® servers run FreeBSD, the most stable and secure of the UNIX variants. Trust that your
server is monitored 24/7/365 by systems administrators with decades of experience.
